Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji, has appealed to all Indians to reduce imports and conserve valuable foreign exchange for the country. At Linit, we wholeheartedly support this national vision and have undertaken several initiatives toward this objective. We are also proud to share that Linit has been contributing $, £ and € to the nation’s foreign exchange earnings since 1998. More than 95% of our finished products have consistently been exported to international markets, reflecting our strong global presence, commitment to excellence, and world-class manufacturing capabilities. We take immense pride in supporting India’s economic growth through sustained export performance and our continued contribution to the country’s foreign exchange earnings. Till date, Linit has earned foreign exchange equivalent to USD 255 million through its export performance.

1998 - 2001

Merchant Exports of SS Fasteners, Castings, Forgings & Garments ( Apparel) Sourcing of Automotive Components for SAL UK Tier 1 Supplier to New Holland Tractors (CNH) Pump & Valve Components and SS Fasteners Sourcing of Automotive & Tractor Components

2004 - 2006

Manufacturing of SS Fasteners by Outsourcing with house Inspection facility including Spectrometer. Trading and Sourcing activity continues Backward Integration through In-house Manufacturing with 1st CNC Machine.

2007 - 2008

Added 2 CNC Machines (Total 3). Added 9 CNC & VMC Machines (Total 12)

2009 - 2010

Added 14 CNC & VMC Machines (Total 26) Added 18 CNC & VMC Machines (Total 44)

2011 - 2012

Added 11 CNC & VMC Machines. State of the Art Machining facility at Rajkot (3100 Sq M Shop floor). Added 11 CNC & VMC Machines. Consolidation of Vasai (Mumbai) facilities at “KT Sapphire” 2900 Sq M.

2013 -2014

Acquired an Investment Casting Foundry at Solapur. Moved to Corporate Office at Western Edge II, Borivali Mumbai.

2016

Tie up with Tigers Internationl (now Jas Fowarding NL), Offering DDP/DAP Shipment

2018

Added 30 CNC & VMC Machines Additional Facility at MIDC Chincholi Solapur

2020

Added 23 CNC/VMC machines.

2021

Acquired two facilities at Solapur, Acquisition of Shalaka Shafts Pvt Ltd Nashik

2022

Added 26 CNC & VMC Machines (Total 155).

2023

Added 9 CNC & VMC Machines Consturction of new machining facility Hamrapur, Wada (3750 SQ.M).

2024

Added 13 CNC & VMC Machines (Total 177 CNC/VMC ) Hamrapur machining facility started Nov’24.

2025

Added 17 CNC & VMC Machines (Total 194 CNC/VMC) and started Construction of new foundry at Solapur.

2026

Added 12 Machines till April 2026 (Total 206) Expected - 5 Machines by June 2026.

What is LINIT today?

  • Linit is a 100% Export Oriented Manufacturing Company offering Wide range of Ready-to-Assemble Components for Pump, Valve & General Engineering Industry, Machined from Castings, Forgings & Bar stock ,Shafts and Stainless Steel Fasteners.
  • Linit has 206 CNC/VMC/ Sliding Head CNC & 155 Automats supported with ultra modern Inspection and Testing Facilities located at Hamrapur (3,750 SQ M) plant 1, Hamrapur Plant 2 (3,500 SQ M), Rajkot Gujarat (3,100 SQ M) and Solapur (7,250 SQ M) ,Nashik (1,200 SQ M). Total – 18,800 SQ M.
  • Investment Casting Facility in Solapur Maharashtra having current melting capacity is about 100 MT/ Month and is supported by modern Material Testing Lab.
  • SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) Engineers at Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur & Rajkot for procurement and sourcing activity.

  2. Nitin Karjatkar, (Born 1966) is a Mechanical Engineer and is part of the international trade since 1987, worked with a pump manufacturer and a star trading house of Engineering exports prior to starting Linit.
  3. Lily Karjatkar (Born 1968) is an MBA having prior Experience in Exports of Apparels .
  4. Ravi Karjatkar (Born 1976) is Mechanical Engineer, M.S. (Auburn) USA. Joined Linit in 2009 having Prior experience of working with Kohler and Cummins in USA..
